Composite veneers are chemically bonded to the underlying tooth structure to achieve spectacular changes within as little as 2-3 hours - you will walk out the door with a new smile all on the same day! It is non invasive and relatively inexpensive because there are no laboratory fees involved, but the improvement is dramatic.
A great way to improve small irregularities on the front teeth. If youhave small chips, indentations or simply wish to freshen your smile then bondings are a relatively inexpensive option to provide an overall lift in your appearance.
Tooth Coloured Fillings
Silver mercury fillings look ugly. We use tooth coloured fillings on both thefront and back teeth to give you a better looking natural smile. Teethfilled with tooth coloured fillings tend to be stronger as a chemicalbond forms to the surrounding tooth, while a tooth filled with amalgammay sometimes be weaker.
Porcelain Fillings - Inlays/Onlays
Extensively filled back teeth can now be rebuilt with the modern technology ofporcelain to restore teeth to their original colour and shape. Teethwhich have very large silver fillings are at a high risk of fracturingand causing further damage to what little amount of what tooth tissue is actually left. These teeth can now be rebuilt with porcelain fillings(inlays/Onlays) - a much stronger and more long term option than anormal filling. Not only will the tooth look like a normal tooth again,it will be a very aesthetic natural colour match and will be verydurable lasting many more years than a normal filling. After treatmentyou can open your mouth wide to laugh and smile with confidence again.
If you have always dreamt of having a whiter healthier looking smile, tooth whitening is the fastest, safest and easiest treatment optionavailable in cosmetic dentistry to lift your smile. Whitening canlighten teeth stained or discoloured from smoking, coffee, tea and redwine. When performed under professional dental supervision, whiteningwill not harm your teeth or gums.
Almost anyone is a candidate for tooth whitening. However those with darkyellow or yellowish brown teeth tend to have more of a transformationthan those with grey/blue toned teeth. Multi-coloured teeth, especiallythose stained due to medications will not whiten as well, and oftenwhitening when used in combination with other cosmetic dental solutionswill work better to achieve the perfect natural smile.
Power Bleaching - takes only 1 hour
This procedure is performed in one hour in the dental chair. Depending onthe nature of your teeth, this very powerful whitening process may workeven better if followed by a couple of hours of at home wear of thewhitening gel. This way you can really produce a dramatic colour changeto you teeth, and have your friends wondering why you look so great.
Take home bleaching - simple - effective - inexpensive
This can be done anywhere, anytime. You only need to wear a very comfortable custom-fitted splint for 1 hour a day for 5 days. You can controlexactly how white you want your teeth to be by how many times you applythe whitening agent. You will however be very happy with the resultsafter only 5 days.
Are you looking to improve your smile? Or your self confidence? Porcelainveneers can dramatically change the appearance of your smile
Porcelain veneers are the perfect solution for creating beautiful smiles in cases of small, oddly shaped, spaced or discoloured teeth. They are thintooth coloured shells of highly aesthetic porcelain which once carefully crafted bond onto and cover the front of unsightly teeth.
Porcelain veneers are ideal for improving the unattractive appearance of chipped, misaligned, misshapen teeth or for closing gaps, especially if thesedefects affect the front teeth. Veneers have the ability to alter thecolour, shape, and size of teeth and ultimately create a great lookingsmile.
You can create whatever smile you desire through porcelain veneers.
Some of the ways veneers can change your life.
Eliminate spaces between teeth.
Restore broken or chipped teeth.
Replace unsightly, stained or washed out fillings.
Cover permanently stained or discoloured teeth.
Correct misshapen or crooked teeth.
Whiten dark yellow or stained teeth.
It is very common for people to have slight imperfections with theirteeth, either oddly shaped teeth, chipped teeth, crooked teeth, teethwith small holes in them, or an inappropriate sized tooth or teeth thathave an odd appearance. Veneers can solve these problems and improve asmile tremendously.
Their appearance is dramatically lifelike with the strength, beauty and durability that porcelain in dentistry is renowned for.
Some of the benefits of veneers are: -
They reflect light better and being more translucent, gives a more natural and aesthetic look.
The end result provides a solution that is very natural looking.
Some facts you might want to know about Porcelain Veneers are:
Porcelain veneers are considered a permanent option to a better looking smile.
Occasionally the preparation of a porcelain veneer does not require the use of alocal anaesthetic. For patients who are particularly sensitive oranxious, a local anaesthetic is advisable.
Between your preparation visit and the placement visit, you can expect somesensitivity to hot and cold. This is normal and is due to the removal of a small portion of the enamel covering of the tooth. This sensitivityshould disappear after your veneers are secured.
When being attached to your natural tooth, veneers are placed using a resin that hardens under a specially developed light.
Once placed, your veneers are very strong and will resist most of the forces placed upon them by a normal diet.
Porcelain has great crushing strength but poor tensile strength. Therefore, youshould avoid anything that will tend to twist and flex the veneers, forexample opening pistachio nuts with you teeth may create problems.
They are not advisable for people playing contact sports without a mouth guard.
Porcelain Crown And Bridgework
For manyyears traditional crowns have been used to strengthen teeth that areheavily filled, fractured, weakened or darkened due to root canaltherapy. Thanks to new technology porcelain crowns now look even betterthan your own teeth. This is because they are all tooth coloured anddon't have an ugly metal line which can sometimes show when you smile.

Invisalign - The Invisible Way To Straighten Your Teeth
Until now there has been no alternative to having a mouthful of metal andwires as a way to straighten your teeth - this is probably why a lot ofpeople (especially adults) have chosen to let their crooked teeth gountreated. Over 75% of the population suffers from crooked teeth whichmakes the condition more common than poor eyesight.
Invisalign is a virtually transparent undetectable alternative to braces, teethare gently moved and straightened by a series of clear plastic removable appliances called aligners. Invisalign provides a much more aesthetic option for people who don't want to wear braces. Invisalign is a safe and effective way to move teeth.
Implants & Surgical treatments
Implants are a permanent solution to tooth loss and can truly change your life.
Implants - "a second chance with missing teeth"
Dental implants provide a means to replace either one tooth or severalmissing teeth, so that your mouth can be restored to look, feel andfunction just like normal. Implants medically fuse to your jawbone tocreate a secure, safe and long term foundation for a new tooth. Thisconcept was developed more than 30 years ago and is now the best andmost common way to have a missing tooth replaced. Not only does theimplant help prevent future loss of bone, but it won't cause any damageto surrounding teeth. The final result will look so natural that you wouldn't even know that there wasn't a real tooth there.
Dr Fraser has undergone extensive training in implant surgical procedures completed the in 2004 all implant surgery is performed on site by DrFraser
A dental implant can help you if:
You have lost teeth as the result of an accident or trauma injury
If you wear dentures which you find loose and uncomfortable and have difficulty chewing
You have lost teeth from breakdown or disease
You have lost a single tooth and want a single tooth implant rather than a bridge appliance.
You are now wearing a partial or full denture, and would prefer a fixed bridge or fixed-removable appliance.
You currently have no solution in place for your missing tooth or teeth and want a permanent replacement that will look and feel like your naturalteeth.
Implants can be used in many situations;
Replacing a Single Tooth
If you are missing a single tooth, one implant replaces the root to which a crown is secured on top.
Replacing Several Teeth
If you are missing several teeth, an implant-supported bridge can replacethem. Dental implants will replace some of the roots and hold aporcelain bridge in place.
Replacing All of Your Teeth
If you are missing all of your teeth, an implant-supported full archdenture can replace them. Dental implants replace some of the missingroots and secure your denture.
Once it has been decided which solution best suits you, treatment cancommence and your new permanent smile is just around the corner.
There is now a solution for those of us that are embarrassed to smile, because we show too much gum (gummy smile) or have very small shapedteeth. Gums can be re contoured by a very simple procedure known as agum lift. A dental laser removes excess gum, sealing as it goes so there is no need for stitches. It is a very quick painless treatment whichtakes place in the dental chair. The results are dramatic showing more teeth for a fuller instant smile. When used in conjunction with porcelain veneers, this combination is an ideal way to correct oddlyshaped, small or crooked teeth.
